It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claire Campbell, a long-time resident of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on January 2, 2025 in San Diego, CA, due to Alzheimer’s disease.
Claire was born to Robert and Marion Campbell in Los Angeles, CA in 1953. She is survived by her two brothers Bruce Campbell and Ian Campbell (Lisa) and her five nieces and nephews and four grand-nephews.
Claire attended Bishop Montgomery High School in Redondo Beach, CA and moved to Beaumont, TX after graduation. She attended Lamar University and then began a career in the healthcare field where she worked for many years with Dr. William Morris. She then branched out to offer administrative support in many different positions in the Beaumont area. In 2022, Claire relocated back home to her native California to be close to her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Claire will always be remembered for her love and loyalty to her family, close friends and her beloved dogs. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A private graveside service will be held at the family’s request at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks expressions of sympathy be made to Alzheimer's San Diego online or via mail at 3635 Ruffin Rd Suite 300 San Diego, CA 92123 in Claire’s name.
The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff, nurses, and caregivers at Casa Companion , ActivCare Mission Bay Residential Memory Care and Comfort & Peace Hospice for their care and compassion.
