Mt. Whitney Climb in Memory of Dr. David O. King
I am dedicating my climb on Mt. Whitney (14,505) to my Father Dr. David O.King who served his country as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, the State of Pennsylvania as a three term member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and the medical community as an Orthodontist for over 40 years.
Dad was a hero to many and his three sons carry on his legacy of service to God and Country in the United States Marine Corps and California Department of Justice.
We celebrate his life and the many accomplishments by raising one dollar for every foot I climb to the Summit.
